Crash with Formula

Post by UrbanCyborg »

Just had a lock-up of VM when experimenting with Formula. No patch, just the module. I was messing around, trying to guess what syntax it would accept (since there's no help under the link), and got it to a state where VM suddenly stopped responding. I had to kill it to get out, losing a bit of work.

The point where it broke was right after I'd typed the space in "x (y)+z".

I'm running Windows 10 on a Ryzen 7 3700X at 3.59 GHz, with 64 GB RAM and 1 TB SSHD.

My own best guess is that I got the parser in an indeterminate state, and it started cycling internally. Just a guess.

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this. I can reproduce it as well.
