I don't know if this thread is still of interest. Apologies in advance for discussing another manufacturer's products on a Cherry Audio thread.
Anyhow, I just wanted to say that the Dome Music Technologies ACE Four-Quadrant Multipliers module behaves in a strictly linear DC-coupled manner. It literally takes two voltage inputs, multiplies them together, then shoves the answer out of the "(xN * yN)" output. In addition, you have an "Audio" output, which divides the result by 5. This allows you to use one input as an attenuator CV, with 0V = 0%, 5V = 100% and -5V = -100% (100% inverted).
I made a YouTube video yesterday which describes its operation.
