I've just purchased Lowdown there seems to be some odd behaviour...
When I hold down a note and press another note higher up, it doesn't sound. Whereas holding down a note and hitting a note lower down works fine.
Live 11.2.6, Windows.
Feature or bug?
Re: Feature or bug?
I believe the original Taurus (which this is a simulation of) had low-note priority so this behaviour is true to the original. Although Moog later added the option of low, high or last note priority in the Tarus III.

Thanks for the reply.
Be great if Cherry Audio implemented the other modes as well.

There were similar discussions about the Miniverse.
In that thread, user SpaceDog described a workaround for getting last note priority by using some modules in VM Core.
These articles from the Synth Secrets series in Sound on Sound Magazine are fascinating:

Thanks for all the info in your reply. Really interesting stuff.
Over the years I've been so used to soft-synths that aren't accurate emulations, I've taken 'last note priority' for granted (and didn't really know it was a thing).
Thanks also for the reference to the VM hack. I will use this in lieu of Cherry Audio adding a prioirty setting.
