P.moon Multi Divider

Post by seal58 »

Build #7 of Multi Divider is released.
- Issue fixed: Sometimes counters display chaotic changing values. This state cannot terminated with module RESET.
- Code became optimized. New build needs 40 percent less CPU load than the old one.
- Output trigger pulses had a fixed duration of one millisecond, which could rather be seen as gate pulse. New version offers an output trigger pulse length from 1 sample (= 0,02 millisecond @ 48,000 samples per second) to 50 samples (about 1 millisecond). The latter value is default, so existing presets will be work as before.
With 1 sample output trigger length, Multi Divider works fine until almost 16,000 Hertz input trigger frequency.

To set output trigger length, a knob is added. It appears at upper right corner of module's front when button KNOBS is toggled on.
Trigger length knob has 6 fixed positions: 1/2/5/10/25/50 samples.

Build #8 is released.

Release notes:
* Fixed: Default trigger duration is 50,000 samples. It's got reduced to 50 samples. This corresponds with 1 msec pulse length of early module builds.
* Fixed: Sometimes it happens, that LINKed channels do not count correctly, because trigger duration is too long for actual input frequency. Now internal used trigger length is independent of user preset rigger duration.
* Small enhancement to reduce CPU load.
