Octagon Sequencer - CV controlled steps

I'm trying to use MBA CV Sequencer to control the step order in Octagon. It works fine until I hit a sustained step with more than one pulse enabled then it seems to skip the step after that. For example, if I try to run through the steps sequentially and step 8 is sustained with 2 pulses enabled it will work fine until it hits step 8. I can't seem to find a voltage that will play step 9. It will hang onto 8 and then jump to step 10.
